^Lot 1601 Winchester Model 63 .22 LR #91304

Vintage semiautomatic rimfire rifle chambered in .22 LR manufactured circa 1950. It features a matte black barrel finish, a wood forend with steel nose cap, wood buttstock with straight grip, smooth steel buttplate, an approximately 24.5" barrel, front and rear sights removed, magazine tube in butt, push button safety, smooth curved trigger, knurled takedown screw at receiver rear, and charging rod in forearm. The bore is dirty with strong rifling. Other than the barrel, the metal parts retain almost none of their original bluing at approximately 10% showing bare metal and a brown patina. The barrel has some holes drilled and tapped into it, and it appears to be upside down. The furniture wood is poor with cracks in the handguard and buttstock. Numbers on the receiver & trigger guard match, with the markings being crisp and clear. The action is smooth.
